I’m an overthinker. (Shocking!) It can be a fantastic strength or debilitating weakness, depending on its duration.
The website you are reading this blog on isn’t my first. My first site was a basic landing page with an expiration date. I knew months in advance. I have a background in communications. How hard could it be?
I was “working on it.” But geez, those font selections are a rabbit hole. And the color palettes. Don’t get me started on the variations of purple and its supporting/contrasting colors.
Add the fact that I can wordsmith for days on end. Analysis paralysis at its best.
Time for a reality check. The website was not going to get done until I got out of my own way and realized I needed help.
Enter Kendra Corman at H2H Consulting. In the span of a week, she’s done what has taken me months to think about.
She knows me and my quirks and has an amazing way of sensing when I’m stuck and then gently saying, “time to knock it off or this isn’t going to get done.”
She helps me get out of my own way. And it frees me up to overthink in a way that serves my clients, which is using that strength for good.
Where do you need to get out of your own way?
